Marketing Cloud Developer

Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer you will:

  • Design solutions to address business needs using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Optimize clients’ marketing automation efforts to improve how leads are nurtured and drive revenue via email and mobile campaigns
  • Design and build journeys like welcome series, cart reminders, promotions, and reactivation/retention campaigns
  • Contribute to documentation and training for clients’ marketing automation instances to help ensure they are well-maintained
  • Create and review dashboards and reports to help analyze performance and discover where improvements to performance can be made
  • Monitor and maintain data quality for clients’ marketing databases
  • Prepare, test, and deploy campaigns utilizing emails, workflows, landing pages, and forms
  • Work with clients and other internal team members

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working in digital marketing and/or web development
  • Expert proficiency with SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • 1+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with automation studio, journey builder, audience builder, AMPscript, creation of landing pages within Salesforce / Exact Target.
  • Understand and have experience in planning, segmentation, targeting, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns
  • An understanding of email marketing and metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A passion to become an expert in data-driven marketing automation
  • A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma
  • Must be currently based in and legally eligible to work in the United States or Canada. NOTE: CloudKettle will not sponsor visas, work permits or relocation costs for this position.

Location and Travel

This position can be fully remote, within the United States or Canada, or based at CloudKettle’s head office in Halifax, NS, Canada.

This role includes the expectation of travel to the CloudKettle head office, some Salesforce events and client meetings. In total, the candidate should expect to be travelling up to 4 weeks of the year.

This remote position will allow you to join a collaborative and supportive environment and continue to grow your skills within the Salesforce ecosystem.
