As a Front-End Developer, you will work on numerous projects and priorities using industry best practices to ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions. You will also be responsible for:

  • Developing and modifying responsive emails, email templates, landing pages and microsites, primarily in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Community Cloud platforms.
  • Converting UI/UX wireframes into Salesforce Lightning and Community Pages
  • Developing front-end components for intuitive and responsive layouts
  • Guaranteeing that the end product accurately represents the design requested
  • Troubleshooting and solving problems
  • Introducing mechanisms and best practices to prevent the recurrence of performance issues
  • Documenting best practices and operational procedures
  • Being in constant communication and collaboration with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions
  • Researching and keeping current on technology and communicating trends and future needs to coworkers and clients


  • Knowledge and practical experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, SQL, JQuery, and XML
  • Experience building mobile and responsive emails and web pages
  • Previous work with web design and development
  • Good usability and web accessibility practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in geographically dispersed environments
  • Comfortable working with both waterfall and agile methodologies and has exposure across the full delivery life-cycle.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Salesforce (Communities, VisualForce and Lightning Components) is an advantage
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and can show proof of citizenship or visa

Must work onsite at our office location in Halifax. This is not a remote position.
