Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for working directly with clients and the CloudKettle team to gather requirements and assist in the scoping, design and delivery of Salesforce solutions.

As a Salesforce Business Analyst you will:

  • Lead the gathering of client business and functional needs, including scoping and estimating the level of effort, defining, and prioritizing requirements.
  • Writing technical user stories and turning them into actionable items based on the business requirements.
  • Leverage knowledge of Salesforce ecosystems in order to assess client needs and help the CloudKettle team deliver solutions.
  • Map client requirements to Salesforce features and functionality, particularly in the context of declarative solutions. Work with senior Salesforce team members on areas where more technical (particularly developer-centric) solutions are required.
  • Document not only requirements, but also items related to configuration, testing and deployments.
  • Support the Partners in their sales and renewal efforts. This includes helping create SOWs based on requirements gathered, contributing timelines and working with the PM office to identify resources.
  • Aid in the testing and deployment of solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings to communicate status and provide best practice recommendations.
  • Work with the Salesforce and Project Management team to monitor project and client health, as well as to create training materials.
  • Participate in declarative work within the Salesforce platform, both to expedite projects, but also to keep current with Salesforce skill set.
  • Participate in Salesforce audits in order to gather client requirements in advance of their larger CloudKettle retainer engagements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a related role.
  • An understanding of Salesforce’s Sales and Service Cloud, functionality and data model.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Strong writing skills are a requirement and experience with Technical Writing is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be currently based in and legally eligible to work in Canada. NOTE: CloudKettle will not sponsor visas, work permits or relocation costs for this position.

Location and Travel

This position can be fully remote, within Canada, or based at CloudKettle’s head office in Halifax, NS, Canada. Employment will be conditional on consent to and the satisfactory review of a background check.
