Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, the Intermediate Salesforce Developer will leverage their knowledge of complex Salesforce ecosystems in order to deliver custom solutions.

The successful candidate will work with team members, vendors and stakeholders to ensure we prepare our clients’ Orgs for growth.

As a Intermediate Salesforce Developer you will:

  • Collaborate with Admins, Architects and other Developers to deliver the most efficient, stable solutions to complex problems.
  • Design the data model, user interface, business logic, and security for custom applications within Salesforce.
  • Participate in the full application lifecycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.
  • Build solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, including development in Force.com, Visualforce, Lightning, Apex, Web Services and API’s.
  • Maintain and monitor Client’s Salesforce Health by validating Critical updates in a timely manner.
  • Work to transition Orgs to Lightning and developing Lightning Components.
  • Provide day-to-day end-user support and assist clients with proactive best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce Sales/Service cloud.

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales/Service cloud.
  • Have a current Salesforce Platform Dev I certification.
  • Have experience in requirements gathering, design, development, testing and documentation of Salesforce solutions.
  • Have a strong understanding of the database model, batch processes, CI/CD.
  • Experience in creating Apex classes, Triggers and using APIs .
  • Be skillful with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, JSON.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be currently based in and legally eligible to work in Canada. NOTE: CloudKettle will not sponsor visas, work permits or relocation costs for this position.

Location and Travel

This position can be fully remote, within Canada, or based at CloudKettle’s head office in Halifax, NS, Canada.

This role includes the expectation of travel to the CloudKettle head office, some Salesforce events and client meetings. In total, the candidate should expect to be travelling up to 4 weeks of the year.

This remote position will allow you to join a collaborative and supportive environment and continue to grow your skills within the Salesforce ecosystem.
