In this hands-on role, the Senior Salesforce Developer will leverage their knowledge of complex Salesforce ecosystems in order to deliver custom solutions.

The successful candidate will work with team members, vendors and stakeholders to ensure we prepare our clients’ Orgs for growth.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer you will:

  • Take a lead role on major projects and solve complex problems.
  • Work with teams to help create and review estimates for technical solutions and software development.
  • Collaborate with Admins, Architects and other Developers to deliver the most efficient, stable solutions to complex problems.
  • Design the data model, user interface, business logic, and security for custom applications within Salesforce.
  • Lead the building of solutions on the platform, including development in, Visualforce, Lightning, Apex, Web Services and API’s.
  • Own the technical standards for the development and integration of the Salesforce solutions, including UI/UX.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other applications using web services and API’s.
  • Enforce coding best practices, design patterns etc.
  • Provide day-to-day end-user support and assist clients with proactive best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce Sales/Service cloud.
  • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering Salesforce Solutions.

Experience Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales/Service cloud.
  • Have a current Salesforce Platform Dev I and II certification.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, design, development, testing and documentation of Salesforce solutions for clients.
  • Experience in creating Apex classes, Triggers and using APIs.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce object model in conjunction with SOQL and SOSL.
  • A history of successful building web-based user interfaces, along with a deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in building automation rules using Process Builder, Workflows and Flows.
  • Development experience in UI technologies like Bootstrap, Lightning Design System (LDS), Lightning Components
  • Development, AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript is a plus.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be currently based in and legally eligible to work in the United States or Canada. NOTE: CloudKettle will not sponsor visas, work permits or relocation costs for this position.

Location and Travel

This role includes the expectation of travel to the CloudKettle head office, some Salesforce events and client meetings. In total, the candidate should expect to be travelling up to 4 weeks of the year.
