Salesforce Saturdays 2022 Developer Cohort

The Winter ‘22 Salesforce Saturdays cohort is now accepting applications!

Salesforce Saturdays cohort is a free training program geared towards professionals who are new to Salesforce and interested in learning about the platform.

The upcoming cohort is focused on Developer content and will guide participants on the path to becoming Certified Salesforce Platform Developers.

The purpose of this program is to provide free and accessible training to the Halifax community.

So far, we’ve hosted six Salesforce Saturday cohorts and graduated 50 participants. Our last cohort of Salesforce Admins garnered 80+ applicants. We only select 6-8 participants for each cohort.

How to Apply:

In order to be considered, please apply by November 30, 2021. If you are accepted, you will be notified between December 3 – December 13. Due to the volume of applicants we will not be sending out rejections; thank you for your understanding.

Who:

Salesforce Saturdays – Halifax is geared towards those who are new to Salesforce and interested in learning about the platform from a Salesforce Development perspective. 

What:

Salesforce Saturdays – Halifax is a free 12-week, instructor-led Salesforce training program with an estimated value of $3,000(USD).

Where:

This is an in-person cohort, that will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In order to participate you’ll need access to a computer, and internet, and you must be fully vaccinated to attend sessions at the CloudKettle office. Proof of vaccination will be required.

Why:

Our goal in hosting Salesforce Saturdays Halifax is to make learning accessible to individuals who are passionate about exploring Salesforce.

When:

Six sessions: Two-hour meetings will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the CloudKettle offices in Halifax.
Note that no class will be held on Feb 19 (the Family Day long weekend), and the make-up class will take place on Feb 26th.

Session 3: February 5, 2022 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Session 4: February 26, 2022 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Session 5: March 5, 2022 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Session 6: March 19, 2022 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

 

Guidelines:

Priority for this program will be given to individuals based on their background and passion for learning Salesforce. CloudKettle reserves the right to ask participants to leave the program if they violate any of the guidelines of the program. Salesforce Saturday HFX Guidelines:

  • The course is designed to build on the knowledge gained in previous sessions. Individuals who miss one or more sessions may be asked to leave.
  • Supplementary course work may be necessary to solidify learning that takes place in the sessions.
  • CloudKettle promotes diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our business. Disruptive or offensive behaviour will not be allowed.
  • For the safety of all participants, proof of vaccination will be required for participation in the cohort. Proof of vaccine must be provided in advance of the first session.
  • Masks are required in the building.
  • In the event of a resurgence in Covid-19 cases in Nova Scotia, we are prepared to switch to a virtual model
