Hi! I’m Gail Blight, VP of Client Revenue Operations at CloudKettle.

In this video, I’m going to review the 5 main reasons why Healthcare organizations are moving from Salesforce Sales Cloud to Salesforce Health Cloud.

But first – What is Salesforce Health Cloud? To put it simply, it’s an extension of Salesforce Sales Cloud with a data model specifically designed for Healthcare organizations.

So whether your core discipline is Pharmaceutical, Payer, Provider or Med Tech – Health Cloud gives you one central location to access all of an individual’s information throughout the entire healthcare journey, allowing you to provide patient-centred services.

Let’s dive in!

Reason #1 – A 360-degree View of the Patient
Salesforce Health Cloud provides a single, holistic view of each patient, from medical history and care plans to treatments and even the patient’s preferred methods of communication. These benefits allow providers, payers and their patients the ability to customize their experiences collaboratively and securely – all in one place.

Reason #2 – Out-of-the-box Functionality
Salesforce Health Cloud provides robust out-of-the-box functionalities. This means that Healthcare organizations can leverage features critical to the Healthcare industry and specific to their organization’s needs without having to create custom objects or duplicate functionality.

Reason #3 – Ease of System Integration
Salesforce Health Cloud provides organizations with an inventory of integrations that are already built with key platforms used in the Healthcare industry, including EHR providers like Oracle Cerner and Epic System Corporation. With built-in integrations in Salesforce Health Cloud, connecting existing systems takes minimal time and effort.

Reason #4 – Security and Compliance with Industry Regulations
Salesforce is well known for its trusted and secure cloud-based solution. With Salesforce Health Cloud and Shield, organizations have enhanced privacy controls, including event monitoring, platform encryption and audit trail, keeping patient data secure and ensuring continued compliance with industry regulations like HIPAA.

Reason #5 – Improved Engagement and Communication
With the 360-degree patient view and collaboration tools, providers are able to personalize care for their patients, providing better overall engagement and improved health outcomes. Providers and patients can benefit from improved communication with helpful features such as messaging directly to mobile devices and improving response times via preferred communication methods and timeframes identified by the patient.

So there you have it! There are many advantages to migrating to Salesforce Health Cloud, and these are just a few examples that Healthcare organizations can benefit from immediately.
