Salesforce Saturdays CloudKettle 2019

For the last two years, CloudKettle has been hosting Salesforce Developer Meetups with the goal of connecting the Salesforce community in our region. During this time, we’ve noticed the content of the Meetups was not applicable to all of the attendees. We encourage diverse backgrounds, but it was clear there was a huge disparity in Salesforce experience amongst those who attended.

To address this challenge, and continue to build the community, we’ve decided to host a second Meetup, Salesforce Saturdays, geared towards those who are new to Salesforce and interested in learning about the platform and/or becoming Salesforce Admin Certified. 

We’ve since hosted two Salesforce Saturdays cohorts and graduated 15 students. Our last cohort, Salesforce Salesforce Summer Cohort garnered 80+ applicants. We only pick 8 students each cohort. Salesforce Saturdays Halifax will be geared towards those who are new to Salesforce and interested in learning about the platform from an Administrator standpoint. Completing this training cohort will set you up on the path to becoming Salesforce Admin Certified. 


Salesforce Saturdays Halifax is a free 12-week, instructor-led Salesforce training program with an estimated value of $3,000(USD).

Cloud Computing, CRM, Organization setup, User Setup, and Standard and Custom Objects
Session 2:
Layout Setting, Relationships, Validations, and Formulas
Session 3:
Workflows, Approval Process, and Process Builders
Session 4:
Data Analytics, Dashboards, Reports, Data Management and Deployment
Session 5: MetaData Securities, Profiles and Permission Sets, and Data Level Securities
Session 6:
Sales & Service Cloud, and Certification Prep


Start Date: January 5, 2019    End Date: March 16, 2019

Six Sessions: Three-hour meetings will be held bi-weekly on Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Our goal in hosting Salesforce Saturdays Halifax is to make learning accessible to individuals who are passionate about exploring Salesforce.

Salesforce Saturday HFX Guidelines

Priority for this program will be given to individuals based on their background and passion for learning Salesforce. CloudKettle reserves the right to ask participants to leave the program if they violate any of the guidelines of the program.

  1. The first session is mandatory
  2. Any individual that misses one or more sessions will be asked to leave.
  3. Assignments must be completed on time. Any individual that fails to complete two assignments will be asked to leave.
  4. For security purposes, all attendees must sign into the building before each session.
  5. Our office has cameras; each individual must consent to be on camera in all public areas of the CloudKettle office.
  6. Disruptive or intolerant behavior will not be allowed.
