Creating your own Wordle with Salesforce Flows

Creating a 4X4 Wordle with Salesforce Flows

If you’ve been on social media at all lately, you may be flooded with people posting series of yellow and green squares. These are shared results of WORDLE scores, a highly addictive game created by Josh Wardle that came out of nowhere in late 2021/early 2022 and became the collective obsession of most of the Internet.

Our office is home to its fair share of WORDLE enthusiasts, so much so that in our #Wordle Slack channel, the question was posed “I wonder if you could make your own Wordle with Salesforce flows?” Never one to shy away from a challenge, I dug in for a few hours (with the help and moral support of my dog Kulfi) and put together an entirely codeless version of WORDLE within Salesforce.

Now, a quick disclaimer, it’s only a 4-letter version (instead of the original 5) and it’s lacking some of the aesthetic appeal of the original – but this was done in an evening and the results are pretty similar.

Check out the video to see how I used Salesforce Flows to create my own custom WORDLE. Or even better, let us know how you would create your own Wordle with Flows!
